My fireplace is about 30 years old, it has a steel liner. I was the brick look and was told I could be able to buy a ;refractory liner', where would I look for this. I live in northwest Alabama.

Hello Ron, not sure what you are asking me, but you could have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
