Chimney & Fireplaces/Temco fireplace blower motor quit

Question
We have a Temco fireplace the model no on the fireplace is TLC36-3mbe  The model of the blower says BL-1.  I cannot find a replacement.  We also are having a problem getting it out.  The hole for it needs to be about 1/2" bigger.
Do you have any suggestions.

Ronda

Answer
Hello Ronda, I could not find the manual for that unit (if you have it I would love a copy) the fireplace should still work with out the blower, I believe Temco is out of business so you might not find replacement parts and you might have to replace the entire fireplace and pipe system if the units is that far gone. I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
