Question
I have a wood burning stove in my cottage. The tile lining in the chimney is cracked. I removed the lining and am know wondering what is my best option for relining. I have been told to use flexible stainless by one contractor and a poured lining by another. whats best? I will be using a contractor do the work, not concerned with cost, just want the best and safest. Please help.

Answer
Hello Victor, you removed the old liner? I would have some one video scan it and while I have never used the "poured" liner, I think it might be your best bet.  it will fill in any void and help strengthen the chimney.
Check references and check to see if they are Certified Chimney Sweeps (CSIA.org)
