Question
I'm looking for Martin "L" pipe wondering if you have any suggestions? I can't seem to find anyone who use to stock it. I know Martin is out of bussness was hoping to find someone

Answer
Hello Dru, there have been so many manufacturers that made dozens of units that are now gone, tracking down old stuff is almost impossible, even if they where still in business there might be a waiting list to get a part. these units have a 20-30 year life span and they must be completely removed and replaced (all pipe, brackets, firebox even the cap and flashing) as you can not fabricate a piece of pipe it will not work right and can cause a fire in your home , just did a fire investigation this week, with pipes of double wall pipe missing, not going all the way up through the chimney and rusted out holes in the fire box.
