Question
I have a Marco model # 792778D wood fireplace and I want to remove it, but don't have the manual to tell me how.  Can you help?  I have taken off the fake mantel and the surround.  I am not sure what holds it in place, any ideas?  This is in a manufactured home and I understand that Marco is out of business now.  Help please.

Answer
Hello Pastor, they are built from the ground up so start at the top, remove the cap, flashing and pipe all the way down to the top of the fireplace then see it there are tabs that might have screws or nails holding the unit in place (rock it back and forth) and remove it.
then have the building department in to see how they want it removed an d repaired (fire stops, new supports....etc)
The system might be recyclable
