Question
I have a marco 792774d wood burning fireplace that I cannot
find a starter collar for.Can a collar from another 8 inch be
matched up.
Hello Bill, no you can not mix and match or fabricate, it must be OEM or made by a company for that unit specifically. If you an not find it then the whole system might have to be replaced. I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
