Chimney & Fireplaces/Vermont Castings Winterwarm blower

Question
Good Afternoon,  I have a Vermont Castings WinterWarm large insert.  The blower comes on automatically once the firebox gets heated adequately.  When the blower is operating, I can feel no additional warm air blowing around the perimeter vents of the insert.  The insert came with the house when I bought it in 1996.  If the vents are blocked, how can I clean them so we can benefit from the warmed blower air?  A million thanks for any advice.

Answer
Hello Charles, I am not that familiar with those units, do you have the owners manual? i f so that should tell you how to inspect them, or you could have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have, they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
James
