Question
Hi James

thank you for hearing my concern

I had a high efficiency furnace installed 2 years ago and now my home continually has a faint campfire or burning incense smell

have you ever come across this before?

thank you

Answer
Hello Murray, do you have a fireplace? if so it could be adding negative pressure to your home and is pulling air down the fireplace flue and it might be dirty I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have, they should be able to help. If not then have your HVAC guys back out to double check the system and if you still smell it call the manufacture.
hope this helps
Happy Holidays
James
