Question

outdoor gas fireplace
I have two questions. I'm attaching an image of an outdoor fireplace. I was wondering if it was vented could it be an indoor fireplace? Also I have gas heat that vents out a pipe in the roof, is there a danger if I put in a wood burning fireplace? I don't know what's coming out of the gas vent and I'm concerned about a spark. Thank you so much
Pam

Answer
Hello Pam, I would say check with the manufacturer of the out door fireplace to see if it can be installed inside. 2 if a vent is being used by gas it can not be used for wood also.I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
