Question
I have a Northern Tool small box stand alone wood burning stove. I noticed a small gap in the front, the back of the pipe is flush, where the 1st pipe where the flue is. It could be that the floor has settled. It is a new room. I was wondering is there a sealant to fill it or do I just go under the floor and jack up the floor? The fan unit blows across the top.I have noticed allot of dust even before I saw the small opening too.Last night we had a really hard rain storm.?water came in from the stove pipe and drip from the ceiling,This happen before even when there was no gap.

Answer
Hello Jim, not sure what you have going on there but I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
James
