we live here in southern california, I see crack on my chimney from bottom to all the way top, we never used fireplace in our house, our house was built in 1977 and it has brick on it.

what should we do, appreciate your advise.

Hello Ismail, I don't know if it will get any worse but I am sure it wont get any better and you want to do preventive maintenance on that chimney before it has to be replaced. I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
