Chimney & Fireplaces/Firebrick gas starter

Question
We are trying to locate a firebrick with a starter insert.
Our contractor says they don't make them anymore, but we just had one put in an outdoor kitchen a year or so ago.  Could you give me an idea where to find them and exactly what are they called?

I'm sorry I don’t understand what your looking for. A firebrick is brick fired to extreme temperatures to be used as the lining of the firebox of a fireplace. A starter insert I suppose could be a gas starter pipe or BBQ type burner? At any rate, you can find all of this at Lowe's or Home depot. If you have a better description or picture from your outdoor kitchen unit, I may be of more help.
