Chimney & Fireplaces/Martin Industries Pipe

Question
We have a manufactured fireplace on main floor and want to pull it out and put a wood stove in basement using the existing chimney.  The chimney pipe has been inspected and is in good shape.  It's triple wall galvanized (12"/8"/6"?) manufactured by Martin Industries.  Just our luck they have gone out of business and Monessen has now taken over.  They are "unsure" if they have the same pipe to match up for us.  We want to carry that same pipe through the existing chimney set up down to the basement for the wood stove.  Any ideas as to where we can find this pipe?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Marie

Answer
Hello Marie, I would say re move all the pipe and fireplace, then install a pipe recommended and rated for you new wood stove in the basement.
Or leave the fireplace and that pipe alone (for resale of house, less work, cheaper) and install a new pipe for the wood stove in the basement.
I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
James
