We have the Preway as a wood burning fireplace, but wish to convert to gas logs.  Do the specs for this model allow for gas log conversion and where can we find the specs.  This model has "knock-outs" in the back

Hello George, with out the owners manual I would not do it (I checked the National Chimney Sweep Guild web page 300+ manuals but yours is not listed)
if you do install (I know they have the knock outs) but that unit may not be for gas and most every pre fab comes with those knock outs.
I would not take the chance with out the owners manual
