Question
Can you direct me where to look for a model number on our Majestic wood burning fireplace. We have looked on the interior metal wall and behind the mesh curtains and cannot locate a plate with the model number. Our house was built in 1989 and we are looking at refacing the enclosure with new doors and need a model number. We found a small decal on the outside of the brass doors stating it was Majestic fireplace. Thank you for any advice you can offer.

Hello Bobbie, look around the frame behind the screen and above the cement panels around the sides and back, if not there then it has burned off or was removed. if you are in a condo try checking with your neighbors or board.
past that maybe your local wood stove store, take measurements and pictures as you can not use any glass doors but the original replacements.
