QuestionQUESTION: we turn the blower on but no air comes out the top vent. The fan at the bottom is circulating but no air comes through the top. Not sure why
ANSWER: Hello Robert, Macro is out of business, Do you have the owners manual? (If you get me the model # I might be able to find it) that might explain how to replace/repair it. I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have, they should be able to help.
Hope this helps

QUESTION: I have the owners mannual but the make and model number are not written in the book. Is their a place on the fireplace to find it? Is it possible that when they installed the fireplace that they packed the insulation around the back against the wall and restricted the airflow. I need to know how to get the grate off the front and top. It is a wood burning unit, installed inside the wall.
Thanks for your quick response
AnswerWelcome back Robert, you can look up inside the sides or dome above and inside for the model #, some times behind the screen.
I would not try to remove the "grate" let an expert do that so you do not damage the unit, and the unit is sealed (double wall metal box) that the air is circulated in, maybe some thing (like a mouse) made a nest?
keep me posted
