my majco fireplace has a hsi  cover that req a good ground but there are no wires and no visible frame ground does this cover double as flame sensor this unit wont stay lit

Hello don, what does the owners manual say?as Majco fireplaces I have never heard of is it MAjestic? even so I would need a model # and manual to find that info, there are hundreds of different fireplace manufactures, no one knows them all, sorry
if you have that manual (or can get me the model number I might be able to find it) then you can see what you need to do.
or contact your local wood stove store to come and fix it.
