Question
A friend gave me a fire place stove  model 155.841881 and reading online at your sight that they have not been sold sense 1978 just wondering what you can tell me about it? This one was removed in the 1990s and never used much and has sat covered up in a shop till now every thing looks to be in real good shape no burn threw.  The chimney is clean  and came with every thing thank you. Phil

Answer
Hello Phil, do you have the owners manual? this will tell you what you need to install it, clearance to combustibles, how to burn and so on, with out it I would not use it, a 30+ year old stove and chimney even in good condition might not work as well as a new one and the old system may not be safe to use, check with your local building department for requirements in your area if you install any stove. I have never heard of this stove, as in the last 30 years there have been well over a few hundred different stoves, inserts and fireplace's produced by several different manufacturers (most are out of business) so it would be hard to know them all.
Did you contact Sears for any info they might have?
