Chimney & Fireplaces/Schrader Wood Stove

Question
QUESTION: I have an old Schrader Wood stove.  A friend told me the model is "king" or something like that.  It is a large stove with "Schrader" written across the top of the doors.  "Fireplace" is written below with two trees off to the sides.  Any information about this stove will be helpful but my main question: is the stove UL listed?  My insurance company wants to know.  I had the stove professionally installed to local code in Dec 2010 and the insurance company is freaking out.

ANSWER: Hello Bryan, on the unit some where will be a "manufacture's tag" on the back, bottom or sides with out it I can not look up an owners manual to find that info. Or contact the "professional" who installed it, they should have that info. you  may also contact the local building department and have it inspected and then that might do it.

QUESTION: I have already checked for a manufacture's tag and there is not one, is there any other way to identify it? Do you know if UL would have a database of approved stoves?

Answer
Welcome back Bryan, Schrader made many different stoves so with out a model number, there would be no way to tell which one you have even if UL had a data base, did you check the inside of the doors.
ask your insurance company if you have a local building permit would that be ok?
if not then you might have to replace the stove, but check with your insurance.
