Chimney & Fireplaces/heatilator

Question
James thanks for the link only I have spoke to heatilator and they no longer have the flame sensor for the CGC 150 series because it contains mercury. My second problem is the installer changed the hard piping to flex piping and when sparling came to hook up tanks the manufacturer does indicate that flex hose can be used with this model. So they red flagged the hook up until I change the flex hose back to hard pipe. I personally spoke to heatilator and so did sparling and there is a no go on the flex hose. That means I have to recut new holes in cedar siding cause the hard pipe will not go out the same hole unless I spend alot more money on elbows and links hard piping. So I have paid for a complete new installation with a  venting system that is not applicable for this unit. I have hard piping that came with this unit but not enough to go through the same height hole. But my real problem is the flame sensor part number 18555 item number 14 and this part was only for Canadian models. I was hoping someone either had old parts or unit in Canada that i could buy. because dealers wont be able to help me at all because of the mercury. I know I bought an 15yr old unit times two the other one stayed lit perfect no problems other than the flex hose. I still think these are great units they were very expensive in there day only I a single mom does not have 4 thousand to spend on  a new NAPOLEON heater I have started this path of least expense so I have to have faith that somewhere out there is a flame sensor sitting on someone shelf that I need to hunt down. Thanks James for the link. Desperate mom Sandy

Answer
Glad to help Sandy and maybe you could look on Ebay, Craigs List, local (or father away) wood stove stores or other sites that might have an old unit, you can get parts from.
other thing that comes to mind is does Heatolator have a replacement set up for t his unit? maybe a different set of logs and censors
good luck and keep me posted
James
