Question
1.   Please suggest a brush on paint that will withstand high temperature and adhere to metal.
2.   How can I insulate an unused fireplace that is close to a heat source?
Thank you

Answer
Hello K, the only "high temp paint" is for BBQ's and it is spray on and will not with stand the fireplace temps.
Not sure what you are asking me in #2? you have an unused fireplace and you want to stop cold air from coming in? maybe no paper backed insulation?
