Chimney & Fireplaces/Martin fireplace in mobile home

Question
We have bought a used 2000 mobile home and it came with a fireplace. Upon inspection the state inspector seems to think this fireplace came with a factory vent in the bottom and the mobile home mover says no.  How can we tell if this is supposed to have a vent in the floor somewhere going outside.  The model number is scf36mb

Thanks

Answer
Hello Susanna, I tried looking for that owners manual, (maybe the old owner has it) with out it I have no way of knowing how that unit was installed or if you can even install it in to a mobil home. I also believe Martin  is out of business. check the mobil home manufacturer and see what they say about what type of fireplaces where allowed in their home, and check with the local building department. sorry I could not be of more help
