Chimney & Fireplaces/Elco fireplace blower

Question
I live in Ct. Who can I get to fix my Elco fireplace blower?

Answer
Hello Maxine, I too live in CT, (Stamford) finding parts for old units is very hard, I would start with your local wood stove store, or the internet, you will need your fireplace model #, you might get lucky and find they are still in business.
once you have the blower, then most Sweeps can swap it out, I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have, they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
