Chimney & Fireplaces/Damper door mechanism

Question
Hello,
We have a fireplace damper that has part of the mechanism gone.
It uses a brass outside handle with a 16 inch square rod attached. Inside are parts and swing arms to close the damper. The piece that is missing seems to be a 'screw' type piece that locks (set screws?) to the rod to allow turning the brass handle to move the damper closed/open and lock somewhat.

Have you seen the type I am talking about and are any parts available for this.
