Question
I have a gas fireplace in my townhome. It has a fan.  I noticed that other townhomes all have a small vent on the outside of their chimneys, but I don't.  Should I have one?  Is it dangerous that I don't have one?

My gas fireplace seems to be missing the damper. It appears that one may have been there previously. Is this dangerous?  Can one be added?
