Also i noticed you mentioned having to open your door and inch and i works well... Sou ds to me like there may be too much of a vacuum in to house .. There may not be enough oxygen getting to the fire

Expertise

I currently ONLY inspect fireplaces. I have been a professional in the construction industry most of my adult life. After the 94' earthquake I began my fireplace and chimney repair career. I then began my inspection career and have for the past 3 1/2 years have solely inspected fireplace/chimney systems. I only inspect and will not sell a client repairs.

Experience

I have been inspecting (full time) for over 3 years in the LA area and have been installing and repairing fireplaces and chimneys since the 1994 Earthquake. Before that I was general contracting since 1989.
