Question
Hi,

I'll be travelling to Beijing in late november, 25th - 29th... What will the temperatures be like in that period? Would i need to prepare winter clothing, gloves and all?

Answer
Sorry for the late reply, I have been away from the computer for a few days.

Late November will be quite cold.  Night time will dip down to about -5 degrees C and during the day you can expect it to be around 6 to 10 degrees.  I think Beijing is better when it is extremely cold.  not too many people go out and the cold air hides the pollution so you get blue skies.  It is a wonderful city and I'm sure you will have a good time.  If you get around to it you can try Beijing Duck at a restaurant called "Our Own Restaurant".  It is down the side street from Beijing International Hotel.  In Pinyin it is Beijing Guoji Fandian.  If your computer can recognise Chinese script then it is 北京国际饭店.  It is about a 2 minute taxi ride from the Forbidden City.

Sorry again for the late reply.
