im planning on gouing to china in early April. How is the climate at this time. I dont want to be there in the rainy season!! Could you recommend the best places to see atthis time of teh yeat

Hello,

China should be just fine in April and not too cold with the winter having passed. I suggest you get yourself a good book on China like LONELY PLANET - CHINA and go thru it to find out for yourself what are the best places to see. China is a huge country and I don't know your interestes, likes and dislikes. You have also not indicated how much time you have for China. Therefore, I cannot make any useful suggestion and hope that you will be able to make you own decisions after learning some more about the country.

However, I would say that you must go to Beijing, Xian and if possible the Kunming province in the south next to Myanmar (Burma). If you like good food, you must also enjoy the Chinese food in different places as it is quite cheap and very different from what you get in your own country.
