QUESTION: experts i need a help actually my girlfriends lives in hongkong and i live in nepal i wanna go to hongkon as a tourist visa just to meet my girlfriend how is it possible to get visa kindly gimme a tutorial thanks

ANSWER: Hello Love-lorn Sameer,

Hong Kong is pretty liberal with visas and most nationalities do not require a visa on entry as it is granted on arrival at the airport. However, in such matters it is best to check with the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu (I assume you are living close when you say you're living in Nepal) on these issues.

You could also check with a reputed travel agent who should have the latest information on visas for Hongkong. I assume you have a passport at least.

QUESTION: thanks for answering me sir nilesh once i went to china immigration and they told me thet hongkong tourist visa is not availabe for nepal people  its totally banned sir nilesh so i am plannin to go to macow and apply for the hongkong visa there can i get it thet way or they can reject me as am a nepali guy becuz i wanna go to meet my girlfren and if i didnt get visa after reaching macow then there is no use of goin to macow kindly ans me sir nilesh

I'm not an expert on immigration and visas. So I cannot offer any further advise than what I already have. As I understand you are a Nepalese Passport holder and Hong Kong does not issue visas to holders of Nepalese Passports. I'm sorry I cannot advise if you go to Macao and apply from there, it will work. Please contact a reputed travel agent and they may be able to advise. It is best to apply for a visa to enter Hong Kong and only then go to Hong Kong. Otherwise you may get deported from there without being allowed to enter and thereby waster your money.

Why not ask your girlfriend to come over instead?
