Question
I would like to give a traditional chinese gift to friends on the bith of their baby (due very soon).  Gender as yet unknown.  Can you give me some ideas.  I would like to be able to surprise them

Answer
Hi Catherine,
Usually we give gifts to babys after they turn 1 month old. But it's still nice that you like express your congratulations by presenting gifts. Well, traditionally we give "jewery" to the bays, such as gold ring or jade bangle....yes I know it's very..how to put..tradition? Otherwise, some cute clothes or nutritious food for mother are also fine.....

cheers
minfu
