Question
Hi,
I was wondering how Hong Kong has changed now that there are more tourists and whether the tourists have caused the local residents any problems e.g. more litter, crime or prostitution etc.
I was also wondering whether the employment structure has changed and whether the economy is better off now that there are more tourist?
thanks.

Answer
Hi,

Tourism has always been a key element of Hong Kongs success.  I've noticed no further burden of the infrastructure because of any increases in tourism.

The city is well managed and kept clean and crime is very low.  You may notice some prostitution, but it's limited and in specific areas.

I'd say over all the economy is doing well.
