Question
Hi,
As part of my geography GCSE I am looking at tourism in Hong Kong and was wondering what facilities have been built or changed / renovated for tourist use, and why. I was also wondering how tourism in Hong Kong has changed Hong Kong e.g. more jobs.
Thank you.

Answer
Hi Imogen!

I'm afraid having never lived in Hong Kong and only having been there on holiday, I do not have enough information to help you with your questions.

I would say that you google 'Hong Kong' and you'll get lots of information on tourist sites and places of interest. From there you can probably do some further research on the history of these tourist places. I know from when I have been there the Hong Kong Tourism Board has lots of leaflets on tours you can do, one of them being visiting old buildings...really quite interesting what these buildings were originally used for etc...

Your best bet is to research and google key words revolving your needs.

I hope you find some interesting articles. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Victoria.
