Answer
Hello Manish!

I have come across a site that gives you details about arriving in HK and taking a ferry straight to Shenzhen and it seems like it's a smooth trip.

http://www.hongkongairport.com/leaflet/skypier.pdf

This costs you HK$295 so is pricier than other transport, but buses usually go to Shenzhen Airport and not the city, which I am presuming is where you are going, so it's not convenient.

You could also take a bus from HK Airport to Shenzhen Airport and then a taxi into Shenzhen city would not be long nor expensive.

A link for that is here:

http://www.trans-island.com.hk/eng/

Click on 'Trans-Island China Link', then 'Prices and Routes' and then 'Shenzhen Bao An Airport' and you’ll get what you’re looking for! That would be around HK$180 and take around 2hrs. You can ask when you get to their counter at HK Airport what route is best to take.

And finally, taking the train seems a little more complicated especially if you have luggage:

You could take the airport express train to Kowloon, a taxi from the express train station to Hung Hom and then a KCR train from Hung Hom in Kowloon to Lo Wu. From there take a taxi (it is a short ride) to Shenzhen. There are trains leaving for Lo Wu until 1 am. Here is schedule:

I would suggest the ferry or bus for this trip.

Taking a ferry from Shenzhen to Macau is also quite simple. Go to the turbojet website and you can find out all you need to know. They say the route is from Shenzhen Airport Fu Yong Ferry Terminal to Macau, so I presume you would easily be able to catch a taxi to the Ferry Terminal.

Luggage details for both routes by ferry are here:
