Hi there, I am wondering, how would traveling to China broaden my cultural horizons, I am really interested in places like Shanghai, Hong Kong..etc

Maybe you could start from HKG,since it's a perfect combination between western and eastern cultures,although it might be very commerical in terms of life style. Shanghai is also a good option,because they are give World Expo this year.There are still many contraditions between developments, but still worth it to experience.At last,since I live in Taiwan,I also recommand you to come to visit Taipei,the culture is even more chinese than mainland chinese,in addition Taiwanese people are super friendly and the gastronomie is excellent !
