Hello Nilesh,

What I would like to know is if it is possible to travel through China by train (and bus) to Nepal. I know now that the trains in China are pretty good, but i don't know if such a trip possible to make.

Hello Sauer,

I am afraid not. The Tibetan Plateau stands like a huge land mass without any rail links between China and Nepal. However, if you are adventurous you can travel by road. From Golmud in northern China to Lhasa in Tibet and then from there to Kathmandu by road.

There are also flights from Chengdu in China to Lhasa (twice daily), Tibet and from Lhasa to Kathmandu (twice weekly).
