Hi Nilesh,

I am travelling from Delhi to Lhasa on my bike with a friend this summer.  I am having problems finding cheap flights from Lhasa back to London or even a domestic flight from Lhasa to Delhi.  If you could give me any advice on air travel within these regions i'd be very grateful.

If you have any other advice that we should consider or places you can recommend on the route from Delhi to Lhasa then that will be well recieved as well.  We are very flexible in where we go as we intend to plan things as we travel and see as much of real life as possible.

I don't think there are direct flights from Lhasa to London or to New Delhi. Lhasa has connections to Kathmandu twice a week and to Chengdu in China twice a day.

Why don't you search the internet using phrases like "cheap flights lhasa london" or something like that and you would be surprised at what you could come up with.

From Delhi to Lhasa I suppose you would be passing thru Nepal which at this point in time is not the most safe place to go. It would not be advisable for a foreigner to be caught on the road in the countryside with Maoist guerillas running riot.

Think about it.
