Question
Dear Nilesh,

Could you tell me, what were your favorite places you traveled to, and why?

What were your impressions of Manipur and Kashmir?

Finally, what cultural differences between different regions of India and between India, Nepal, Tibet, and China stood out to you the most in your travels?

Thank you,

David Stewart

Answer
Dear David,

Its very difficult to say which is my most favourite destination. Well, the few that come to mind are Kailash Mansarovar in Tibet and trekking in the Indian Himalayas especially Kashmir.

Manipur is a beautiful valley surrounded by tribal hills. Its Loktak lake is unique and the history of the second world war fought there is awesome. Kashmir is heaven on earth and I wish India and Pakistan would stop fighting over it and let the people of the world come there to enjoy it.

Lack of education is the basic difference between India, Nepal, Tibet and China. China is almost 100% literate and that makes all the difference when it progresses way beyond India and Nepal.

I hope I have answered your questions.

Thanks for choosing me as an expert.

Don't forget to rate me.

Ciao and take care.

Nilesh.
