Hi, I'm visiting china for the Canton Fair this October. I want t know where i MUST GO in China during my one week visit. What is your advice? what I shouldn't miss there, what are the nearby countries or places I shoul visit ??!!

Hello Hamid,

Guangzhou itself is a huge city and famous becuase of the link to a British past. You should try and visit the British enclave which is so much different from the rest of the city. Also visit the new city of Shenzhen which is a few hours by modern train.

The province of Kunming in China is also worth visiting if you have the time. It is next to Burma and is quite different from the other parts of Chian. Nearby cities are Hong Kong, Vietnam and Cambodia. I don't know how much you can do in a week, but thought I'd let you know.
