Hi Nilesh!!!

Do you know if there's a cheap way to get to Hanoi from Hong Kong? Tickets
cost like 350 dollars and i was looking at trains or buses but i don't know if
there's something i can take in Hong Kong or how flexible the bus system is.

Another question. If i were going into China just on the bus to cross into
Vietnam, do i need a visa for that?

Hi Paola,

I must confess I do not have up to date information on getting cheaply from Hong Kong to Hanoi. But these days there are several cheap airlines and a bit of searching on the net should point you to some good options. Alternately try your travel agent as they have the latest information.

If you don't have a visa for China, you cannot cross into China from anywhere. Please get yourself a Chinese visa and only then attempt to cross into China. Otherwise the results could be quite unpleasant.
