i want to do business in Hong Kong or China and was wondering if i could get a job teaching English /computer or as a receptionist in Hong Kong to start.
I want to come on holiday in December to see what i can do.

Hello.  

Yes, it is very possible.  Many people come to China or HK to teach and then explore other opportunities for doing business once they get here.

This is not very difficult.  You need to find an agency on the Internet that helps place foreigners in these types of jobs.

They will help you get your work VISA as well.
