Question
QUESTION: i want to know the cost of living in china (especially Jiaxing near shanghai) wat will be the monthly cost of accomodation, electricity, heater, phone, food, laundry, other taxes, income tax, education etc.

ANSWER: Hi Sameer
The average cost of accommodation would be 2000-3000 RMB depends on your demand(about 60 sqaured-meter). But if you want a comfort living, then you are expected to pay around 5000 or 6000 for a small flat including the electricity and heating. As for the income tax for foreign work force, sorry you need to ask someone else.

all the best

QUESTION: thanks for ur reply,

but u hav not mention about food and daily expenses. also kindly inform what monthly slalary is sufficent for a couple.

Answer
Hi there
If you are oversea experenced worker, you make circa 15000 to 20000 RMB.But if you said you are a couple but only with one income, then you better look for cheaper housing, and cook by yourslef at home. The daily expense, if you go to have a meal at restaurant, it's bout 30-50 RMB.A good restaurant would cost you 100 RMB. Beer is 20 RMB, cup of coffee in Starbucks is 20 RMB..ect. (1 USD= 7.5 RMB)

cheers
