Question
I need to go to hongkong to take my flight to nepal because the flights from shanghai is cancelled for some months. so could you tell me if i need visa to hongkong or not and even may be i will be staying there for 2-3 days . and if i need visa then where can i get that and even i will be more thankful if you tell me how to get hongkong from sanghai because i am staying near to shanghai.

Answer
Hello Dependra,

Since Hong Kong is now an integral part of China, you should not need a separate visa to go there. I'm assuming you already have a Chinese visa and are staying in Shanghai with proper papers in place.

However, it is best to check with your compnay's travel desk or a good travel agent. Your company should also have 'relocation management services' or an equivalent service who would be in the best position to advise you.

Hope this information helps.

Take Care.
