Hey! My name is Crystal and I love everything about chinese so for my Sweet 16th I would like to have a chinese birthday party for my friends and I. The only problem is that I don't know a lot about how the Chinese do a Birthday Party so if you could help by telling me how I would dress,eat,and decorate. Thanks for the help

Dear Crystal,

I don't really think we have CHINESE birthday party. Birthday Party is a foreign thing to us. So I really don't know what is proper. But Chinese like red and yellow colors. About Dressing, you can wear Chinese qipao(Try to google it, you'll see lots of pictures of the traditional Chinese dress for women). Food? besides birthday cake(which is definitely not Chinese), we also have noodles, indicating long life.
