QuestionHello,
I was just wondering if you could tell me what the following would be in the chinese symbols as I am wanting to get a tattoo of these and really want to make sure that it is right before I have it done. Could you tell me what the symbols are for FAITH,LOVE and HOPE and could you also tell me what my name Michelle would be as well. I would appreciate it if you could.
Thank you very much
Michelle
AnswerHi Michelle~
There could be various versions of translations for these words, however, if you take them from Bibles, I'm pretty sure they are
1.(in Simplified Chinese) 信(Faith) 爱(Love) 望(Hope)
2.(in Traditional Chinese) 信 愛 望
btw they're often in an order like this: "faith hope love"
Mechelle is a beautiful name, which can be translated by its pronounciation as 米歇尔(Simplified and formal) 米歇爾(Traditional and formal) 米歇兒(Traditional, a variant, more girly) 蜜雪儿(Simp)蜜雪兒(Trad)(these are more cute variants, litterally meaning "sweet snow child")
hope this could help you. i highly suggest you get a second opinion, 'cuz tattoo is a serious thing :) and i don't know if these chinese symbols will display correctly, if you want, you can email me and then i can send you pics of these symbols.
anyway, have a nice day and good luck!
