Question I'm a 58 year old American. I don't look the part, (have a great physique) act it, or have the physiological attributes of a man my age--most people peg me mid-forties.
I'm professional (RN - Registered Nurse) own my own home and have a lot to offer to a woman who wants to emigrate. I divorced a decade ago. My ex could not have children, and this was not an issue. But now, as time goes by the urge to find the love of my life and have one or two of my own children (I would love two girls, but either gender would be fine) with a loving wife waxes rather than wanes with age.
Unlike most older American males I'm barely at the mid-point of my career and intend to continue working and teaching into my 80's. American television (Sex and the City, etc) has changed American mores. Women want men >5' 10" (I'm 5'7") and younger than their own age nowadays. Family and family values are not important these days in America. To have a child my partner must be less than age 38. This will not happen in America, and so I'd like to look elsewhere where values are different.
I've thought about China...and wonder about Chinese women's values and mores...are they accepting of an older man as a husband? Communications are essential to me, and I value creativity, honesty, fidelity, intelligence, an energetic spirit, and self-respect, physically and spiritually. I'm affectionate, loving, and (appropriately)highly sexual (my age is no issue in that realm), and want a partner that appreciates that. I am spiritual--leaning towards a Buddhist philosophy.
I would appreciate your thoughts or suggestions. I had thought about teaching English as a foreign language as a means to visit a country.
I am indeed, on a mission. I've been single for a decade, and miss having a wife, a family, and a loving relationship. This is my last chance... any thoughts?
I'm more of a "country boy," and don't particularly like the big cities.... and am quite willing to do what's necessary to find and bring my bride to America.

Then I guess you have found the right place.
It happens a lot in China. An older Foreigners and a young Chinese girl together. Americans are very popular here. I always see girls with them. The partner's age is not an issue to the girls. I always find them (the young Chinese girls) sexy and pretty. But their purpose is to get to the States by marring an American as United States of America is a dreamland for them. So you can easily find a girl you want. But I cannot guarantee you their morals. They might first marry you in order to get to the States. After that they will divorce so that they can find a younger guy in the States. So you need to be careful.
You can easily find a teaching job in China. We need them, especially Americans.
