Question
Hi Terry,

I am having trouble translating the verb "write", and the nouns  "strength",
and "life".  Any help is appreciated...I would like to use them on a wall in my
home, writing has saved my life more than once, and I have learned that I
have more strength than I ever knew.  I think it would be beautiful (as
Chinese characters, in Calligraphy, often are) on a wall near the entryway to
my home.  The verb "write" would be (i believe) first person, as in "I write", if
that helps any.  Thank you for your time and knowledge, it is greatly
appreciated!

Answer
Hi Laurie,

I would use this:

寫是活力

xiě shì huólì

“活力" together means "vitality", but the component parts mean "life" and "force". "寫“ means "write" -- in all tenses and for all subjects.
