Chinese - Chinese translation from image

Expert: Terry Thatcher Waltz - 9/25/2009

Question
Hello! I was hoping you may be able to help me with a translation. I have attached an image. I have been trying to do it myself for hours but I have not had any luck. Thank you so much for your time! It is very much appreciated!

Best,
Preston

Answer
Preston,

No wonder you have had difficulty translating this...it's not proper Chinese. These are probably characters that some well-meaning non-Chinese speaker has tried to copy (and botched up). Hopefully it is not already tattooed on someone's body...anyway none of them are characters that are in use today, and it has no meaning to the average speaker of Chinese, except that it feels as though it was supposed to be a name, since the first character looks like a mistake for the surname zhou1, and Chinese names often have three characters.
