Question

I am very sorry for my failed attachments. Trying this one more time. This link should take you there. Again I am sorry. I do not get along with computers. http://www.xoopit.com/s/20zft17mqvdd63y5owq8

Answer
Hi,
Well, this won't be what you were hoping for...I can't read it. I sent the image files to a native Chinese speaking friend of mine from my grad school days in Asia, and she can't read it either. She said the left part looks like the character mu4 for "eye" and the right part could be something like the character dai1 for "stupid" or "torpid" BUT with two extra strokes (so it is NOT the character for "stupid", I'm just describing the bulk of its shape)...anyway, neither one of us can think of a character that would fit these criteria. Either we're missing something or it's an obscure personal name or not Chinese. Could it maybe be Japanese?

Sorry I can't help.
