In the year 2010 Is the relationship between China and Taiwan friendly or unfriendly? Thank you. Al Brown

Hi Al,

Honestly I don't pay much attention on this issue. But generally speaking, I think 2010 is a smooth year for China and Taiwan. I mean, the disagreement remains but it hasn't got any worse. The direct route is now allowed. The Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement has just been approved by both sides. And I don't recall any recent propaganda against Taiwan. So I guess it's ok to say now China and Taiwan are friendly.

Mind you, i am no experts on the China-Taiwan issue. I just gave you a subjective observation from a point view of a Chinese citizen.
