Question
Hello,
I am planning to get a tattoo in a different language, and being as i do not know any other languages i simply googled meaning of the kind i wanted. Thus, i was wondering as too what you would interpret this as, if it is even chinese (or what language you think it might be) , because i do not really trust the internet.
Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

AnswerHi Amber,
Yes, it is Chinese. to be more specific, it's a simplified Chinese character (the ones used in Mainland China. in Hongkong and Taiwan, they used traditional ones). the character pronounces "le"(with a fourth tone, which starts at the top, then falls sharp and strong to the bottom. you may wanna see more explanation of tones here
http://people.wku.edu/shizhen.gao/Chinese101/pinyin/tones.htm) and it can "happiness" or "laugh". and it has another pronunciation "yue" (also with fourth tone" which means "music".
I hope the character is what you were looking for. and I strongly advise you confirm with me before you get the tattoo done. so, talk soon?
Regards,
John
